For our first SQ2 stock kit, we wanted to create something that really showcased the best that Sonor has to offer. When you look back at some of the most revered Sonor drum sets in music history, they all have one thing in common: beech shells. German Beech offers a full, warm tone with evenly balanced lows, mids and highs. This offers the drummer unmatched fullness and resonance, while enhancing the nuances of the toms. It really is the sound that Sonor made famous. The Fiery Red semi-gloss finish is sure to catch everyone’s eye and make their heads turn when it’s on a stage. The shorter toms (7x10, 8x12, 15x16) are designed to really pack a punch while still having the resonance that Sonor is famous for. The 16x22 kick has a thunderous low end that the audience will feel in their chest. To top it off, we opted for black chrome plated hardware and semi-gloss black hoops to really accent the look of the kit. This is the perfect set for any drummer who’s looking to make a statement.
