The Suhr Modern Custom Black Limba represents the finest of Suhr’s custom guitars. This wood has a character all to itself both aesthetically, and aurally. The Modern Custom Black Limba is exceptionally versatile with the combination of the available pickup selections and the “blower switch”, before going into any pedals or the amp. One of the characteristics that stands out on this guitar is the touch-sensitivity that is exemplified through this tone wood and the electronics. Suhr seems to finish their guitar necks in such a way that there is never a moment of hindrance when playing one of these instruments. I find myself never being distracted by anything on the guitar and am able to place all of my focus on the music itself. At the end of the day, a guitar that makes the music effortless to play is easily the instrument I seek to have in my hands.
