N Stuff Players Perspective
This Standard Custom is what I consider a “pick up and sound great” guitar. The moment I picked it up, it felt right, sounded great, and was fully ergonomic. The V60s make this particular Suhr unique in presenting a smooth and full single-coil sound. The bridge Thornbucker provides this Standard Custom with the fullest capability to play screaming leads and create some of the thickest overdriven sounds. I would be comfortable with this guitar in nearly any setting of music; it cuts through, and blends into the mix equally well when needed. Finally, the roasted maple neck helps to continually place Suhr at the top of the industry in playability.
