The 214ce DLX Special Edition Blacktop brings a luxurious aesthetic to one of Taylor’s most versatile and approachable Grand Auditorium platforms. Its torrefied spruce top features a rich black finish, while layered Indian rosewood back and sides are accented by an artfully hand-sprayed shaded edgeburst.

Beneath the striking aesthetic is the comfortable playing experience and versatile acoustic voice that have made the 214ce a player favorite. Torrefied spruce contributes warm, played-in character, while C-Class bracing delivers strong projection and a balanced response across the register. The result is a clear, versatile voice that works beautifully for strumming, fingerstyle and everything in between. A slender satin-finish neck provides a smooth, comfortable feel.

White appointments provide a crisp contrast to the black finish, including a three-ring white rosette, white heel cap and white body binding traced by thin white purfling on the top and sides. Satin black tuners and a black pickguard complement the Blacktop aesthetic, while the gloss body finish adds depth and luster to the guitar’s distinctive look.
