Now, her long-awaited signature snare drum has arrived.

Over the course of more than two years of development and refinement, Anika focused on three things: a deep low end that enhances her expressive range, clear snare wire definition that preserves every note even in the most intricate passages, and a look that reflects her lifelong love for vintage snares.

The shell is aluminum, known for its warm tone and excellent projection. To meet Anika's request for a powerful low end, the size was set at a deeper 6.5". To add rigidity to the naturally soft aluminum, four grooves were carved into the center of the shell, and the bent edge was extended a few millimeters beyond the usual specification. This design preserves the natural resonance of aluminum while achieving exceptional strength.

Paired with Sound Arc Hoops that focus the fundamental tone, the snare delivers a sound that combines rich low end, excellent projection and clarity, ensuring every single note is heard.

Another standout feature is the newly developed internal "Mod-Tone Muffler." With one simple touch, the mute can be switched on or off, and by turning the dial, its pressure can be adjusted seamlessly—allowing players to create a wide range of sounds with just one instrument.
