Drum Workshop Collector's Series 4-Piece Maple/Mahogany Drum Set - Broken Glass
The warmth of mahogany is undeniable. Used in drum making for decades, it provides a dark, mellow tonality that is an excellent choice for a range of musical settings. The 9ply Maple/Mahogany shells feature a 7ply maple core with an inner and outer ply of select African mahogany, offering up studio-friendly resonance and musicality with an unprecedented amount of low end.
This kit features a Broken Glass Finish Ply and Black Nickel hardware to really add an extra pop and flair to the kit. We also really wanted to make this kit stand out underneath the lights and had the kick hoops finished in a satin black stain. The results are something truly special.
The drums have all of the features DW drums are famous for: STM Tom Mounts; True-Pitch 50 Tension Rods, etc. The toms feature a 45° bearing edge for added attack and tone while the kick has a 60° bearing edge for maximum low end.
