5 stars out of 5
Honestly was blown away the first time I played this tiny guitar. This review really goes for ALL GS Mini guitars, not just the rosewood one, because they all offer that Taylor sound and playability in a small travel friendly package. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve traveled with my GS mini and had people with Martin’s or even other 100-200 series Taylor’s complain that this little guitar sounds and plays as good or better than their $1000+ guitar. After playing theirs, I WOULD AGREE!! You honestly can’t go wrong with this thing, whether you want a guitar to learn on, getting a guitar for a kid, or just want a travel guitar like me... NOTHING ELSE EVEN COMES CLOSE to the sound and playability of this thing for under $600. If you’re in the market for your first guitar, travel guitar, or kids guitar, DO NOT PASS THIS BY! What a perfect guitar to buy regardless of your ability because you get all the features of a Taylor guitar for an amazing price that can travel with you!! If you want a better guitar someday, you can get one, but having this GS mini as well will NEVER be a mistake because it’s perfect to take on trips with you wherever you go and however you get there!! Oh yeah, did I mention the hard bag it comes with is just incredible!?!? Well, it is!! Doubles as a backpack and is perfect companion to travel with!!! Extra bonus, it’s the perfect size guitar and bag to fit in an airplane overhead compartment!! Seriously, the GS mini series is probably the guitar I play most out of my 5 acoustics I own and I’m still to this day blown away at house great it sounds and how perfect it is to play! Would give it 6 stars if I could because it’s not only a 5 star acoustic guitar in every aspect, but it’s ALSO smaller for travel (mind exploding emoji). Just great stuff!!!
