Looking for keyboard pedals? You’ve arrived at the right place. If you are a beginning keyboardist do not forget the importance of having pedals for your keyboard. Though they are miniscule in appearance, sustainer pedals and damper pedals are crucial pieces to the rig of a good keyboard player. The sustainer pedal, just like on a piano, allows you to sustain the notes of the keyboard without damping and muting them when it is engaged. Thus, you can make those lush and full chord voicings ring and accentuated whatever is needed in the music.

Damper pedal is synonymous with the sustainer pedal. Damper is just referring to raising the actual dampers on a piano to let the string ring freely and then placing them back on the string to dampen the sound. Of course on a keyboard there are no dampers, but the same idea occurs so we call it a damper pedal.

If you have a Yamaha keyboard but need a new or replacement pedal unit we’ve got you covered. We have a selection of pedal units available for various models of Yamaha keyboards so check with us and we will get you situated. Organists and keyboard players who thrive on their organ settings will be glad to hear that we have the Hammond expression pedal available for those of you who want to get that extra Hammond chime and classic sound.
