RG770 REISSUES

The 2008 RG770DX's have all the goods that made the originals such coveted collector's items, and like the originals, the 2008 limited production reissues are peerless examples of precision Japanese craftsmanship.

To appease the massive demand for more RG reissues, Ibanez has unveiled the RG770DXRR and RG770DXLB, Ruby Red and Lazer Blue RG trems with all the great details of the original 1987 models, plus some 2008 improvements. The RG770DX's basswood bodies, pickups, pickguards, knobs, headstocks and sharktooth inlays are all either Ruby Red or Lazer Blue. As in 1987, these RG's features DiMarzio/IBZ pickups, the original Edge tremolos and, most importantly, the original fast and flat Wizard necks. The 2008 version of the Wizard neck has the 1987 dimensions but now features 5pc maple/walnut construction for even greater strength and stability.
