HHB's ADAT45 45 Minute ADAT Tape is an exceptional-quality S-VHS tape designed specially for ADAT and ADAT XT users. Unlike conventional tape, the ADAT45 is engineered for minimum tape pack slack despite repeated shuttling in your Alesis recorder. This offers strength and durability, where inferior tapes fail. Each tape uses ultra fine cobalt ferric oxide particles, distributed evenly to produce an extremely smooth magnetic surface. This yields enhanced high frequency response, consistently low block error rates, and an unusually high output. A special high density border ensures that the error rate stays low even after 100 passes. The ADAT45 is approved by Alesis and can hold up to 45 minutes of 16 or 20-bit 8 track digital audio when used in an ADAT recorder. (If used as a video tape, the S-VHS capacity is roughly 129 minutes.) FEATURES: Durable The tape casing is made of impact resistant ABS plastic engineered for accurate tape handling and minimizing the tape slack that causes weaker tapes to break. ADAT45 tapes endure the high stress of repeated shuttling. Long Life Digital Audio A new, back coated tape delivers repeatedly low block error rates. When archived under proper conditions, tapes now promise to last over 30 years in storage. An advanced binder also keeps oxide from shedding. Approved by Alesis HHB ADAT tapes are approved by Alesis for use in professional ADAT multitrack recording.
