Whether you play guitar, bass, or even keys, your quest for the finest sounds available in an analog modulation pedal has ended.... the Fulltone ChoralFlange is the real deal, not a digitally modeled facsimile!
The quality of the flanging is extraordinary! Incredibly musical tones, reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix's "House Burning Down" or Eric Johnson's "High Landrons." Additionally, it does all this in stereo with minimal noise!
The Choral Flange chorus sounds have a very wide range, achieving everything from meaty, pitch-bent vintage Boss CE-1 vibrato style sounds to totally transparent stereo splits, but without the sterile tones of many of the current crop of higher-end choruses. There's tons of headroom to avoid overdriving the input into distortion when you use heavy strings, or if you use the Fulltone ChoralFlange for bass or keyboards. This pedal does fantastic Leslie simulations also, in both monophonic and stereo modes.
Fultone ChoralFlange Features:
Delay Time knob lets you adjust for subtle or extreme detuned choruses and vibratos. Mix knob for setting the mix level of the effect sound versus the dry instrument signal. Depth knob for adjusting effect intensity and depth. Rate knob features an LED indicator for a visual reference for matching to the song tempo. External trim for Gain adjustments, and mini toggle switch for Range sweep setting (1 or 2 Octaves) Function (selects Chorus or Flanger sounds).
The Fulltone Choral Flange is the first pedal in existence to offer the player a choice between true bypass monophonic operation and high quality low impedance output (stereo or mono) via a mini- DIP switch that is accessed through the bottom hatch. A regulated 9-volt power adapter is included for optimum performance and consistent tone every time you use it. You can use a 9-volt battery for 2-3 hours because we use more expensive, extra bright, low current(2mA) LED's for status and speed, and for our homemade internal photo resistor which is an integral part of our "secret recipe" circuit. This circuit allows extraordinary flanger depth without the awkward metallic feedback that is the downfall of many flange pedals. You will want to use the ChoralFlange last in your pedal signal chain to drive long cable runs with NO SIGNAL DEGRADATION or alteration of your sound whatsoever, due to the expensive and top quality JFET's used in our signal path. You'll experience none of that unintended crackling overdrive sound you get with other choruses that indicates insufficient input headroom. This is a very compact pedal... slightly larger than the FullDrive2 at 5"x 6".
